Hello friends, it’s Susan from “The Soup Shop” – A short hello, and a long THANK YOU!
I am beyond filled with gratitude and appreciation for an amazing first Season at “The Soup Shop” Copper Hill VA! A shop that is way more than soup – it is a shop that represents the love and reverence John and I have for Floyd County AND ITS BOUNTY! The farmers, makers, bakers, and creators are what makes our shop so special! And of course our customers – without you there is no shop!
YOU are the reason – you are the people who care about real food and shopping locally!
We are beyond grateful to serve you – it is our dream to have so much goodness to share!
The shop is all about LOCAL, REAL food and of course Connection with our community! Season one proved to be a perfect setting to meet new people, learn more about our unique place on this planet, and to revel in terrific foods and awesome creations of all kinds. The history, friends, lessons, so very many made the shop become what we intended a shop of connection – food, people, and purpose.
It takes a village – it takes time, it takes love, and it takes A LOT of care to create a space and place that is all about the best of Floyd County. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and thank you to those clients below who wanted to share – Check it out – made my heart SING!!!
The Soup Shop is a quaint spot for organic and locally sourced food, featuring soups, sandwichs, local condiments & spices, breads, cheeses and meats. It also supports the community as a gathering location full of books, art, all with a warm, friendly atmosphere with occasional special events and helpful lectures.
