There’s a farmacy under your feet! Just a few short generations ago, all of our families relied on plants for food and medicine. Nowadays most can easily identify hundreds of corporate logos, but cannot identify 10 plants in their bio-region.

Come out for a Soup Shop Talk on how to identify and use the bounty of herbs that grow wild and free in our yards, fields, woodlands, and creek banks. This includes native, naturalized, and invasive species. We will address some guidelines for safe, sustainable harvesting, which parts to harvest, methods of using/preparing the herbs, as well as the folk uses of the plants.
